Creating a personal account requires you to add details such as your name (as it appears on your passport, ID, or any other form of identification), your email address, and your phone number.

When you create a personal account with Payoutt, you need to provide the address proof documents as well as the ID proof documents like passports, IC cards, and E-passes.

As a licensed financial organization, we must verify your details in order to know who is transferring money with us. So, it is important to provide us your real full name (nicknames and initials are not acceptable), accurate address, phone number and an email ID when you create your profile with us.

No, you cannot create a multi user personal account with Payoutt.

Yes. As long as your name reflects as one of the account holders, you can send money through a joint account.

Yes. You can change the recipient details before the money reaches the recipient. You can contact our customer care team via email or call for any issues you face before your money reaches the recipient, meaning even when the transfer is in progress. After the transfer has been completed, it is not possible to change the recipient information.

Well, the charges differ from country to country and the amount of money you plan to transfer also determines the cost because the charges imposed by various banks are different. Generally, we charge between S$5 and S$10 for Asian countries, and these rates differ for European and US countries.

It is possible to send money nearly anywhere in the world provided your documents are perfectly meets our company’s internal policy and requirements are met according to the bylaws of the country you wish to send money to.

Some banks levy taxes on outward flow of money while some do not. So, these charges are completely taken by the bank only, not Payoutt.

Some banks may levy taxes on inward remittances. While Payoutt deposits the exact amount to the recipient that you see on the screen while setting up the transfer, the recipient's bank may deduct taxes from the receiving amount at their end.

We will notify you via email or call about your rejected transfer.

Currently, you can use banks for payments via NEFT, IMPS, Net banking or Debit Cards. If it is convenient for you, you can even visit our physical location and pay via cash. However, we are working towards integrating additional payment platforms in the future.

No, you need to create a personal bank account for personal transfers.

No. We do not accept credit cards for money transfer payments.

We do not accept third party payments.

If this is the case, you must provide all the details of the originator, proof of the transfer, as well as any other supporting documents required for further action.

You can contact our customer experience team via email or call if the transfer is still in progress. Unfortunately, nothing can be done if the money transfer gets completed and the money gets received by the recipient.

Typically, transfers via Payoutt are instant. If the transfer request is made after the cut off time, the transfer will be done the next day. However, for certain countries, corridors, and payment methods it could take up to 7 business days to complete a transaction.

The company has the right to cancel if the agreement goes against company’s internal policy. The funds will be reverted via the same mode of payment. If the client pays by cash, the funds will be transferred at his/ her discretion.

Yes, you can have separate business accounts for your different businesses.

Well, the charges differ depending on different banks and the amount of money you plan to transfer also determines the cost. For example, we have fee waivers for large transactions and special prices for our premium corporate clients.

With a business account, you can set rate alerts, track your payments and have the option of availing premium services (where you can book your FX rates ) if you become a regular customer.

Yes. In certain cases, we accept payments from personal bank accounts for corporate payments after reviewing and approving supporting documents. However, we recommend using a corporate account for business payments.

You can cancel your transfer depending on what step your transfer is at. If you have not funded the transaction, you can cancel your transaction by clicking on the ‘cancel’ button on the transaction history page. If you have sent funds against a transaction and then want to cancel it, please contact our customer service team via email or call. Please note, once the funds have been transferred to the recipient, the transaction cannot be canceled.

The taxes levied on outward flow of money depend on the banks and the policy of the country they are located at. While some banks charge for outgoing funds, others do not do so.

While Payoutt deposits the exact amount to the recipient that you see on the screen while setting up the transfer, the recipient's bank may deduct taxes from the receiving amount at their end.

There is no threshold on the minimum and maximum amount of money that can be transferred via Payoutt.

Banks typically do not offer great exchange rates and they often charge high fees for transfers, especially with wire transfers.

SWIFT Code is a unique ID code for financial and non-financial institutions. ACH Code is a routing code used to identify the financial institution in which it is drawn in the US. IBAN Number is used to facilitate the communication and processing of cross-border transactions. It is an international system of identifying bank accounts across nations. Sort Codes are used to identify banks when routing money transfers by the British and the Irish. BSB or Bank State Branch Code is used in Australia to identify a bank's branch. IFSC code is used in India to identify a particular bank branch participating in the two main Electronic Funds Settlement Systems.

The FX rates coincide with the FX market. The forex market is open 24 hours a day during weekdays but closes on weekends, Christmas Eve and New Year. It closes on Fridays at 5 p.m. and resumes trading again 48 hours later. So, the rates remain standard during these time periods.
